Revolution

or rather much needed EVOLUTION!

I think most of you have seen my link to the very good site for submissives called Submissive Guide that i have at the bottom of the blog. Yes? Well now there's a newcomer - Dominant Guide!
Finally! That's my take on it! I just hope it will become as widespread and acknowledged as SG is.
Please go and check it out -even if you are a submissive! I think just as submissive guide can be helpful to Dominants, this can be to submissives too -it never hurts seeing a coin from all sides!

Chat Night

I had contemplated having a chat night this past weekend but as it turned out the whole family was -is- ill and also i had to start the move (yeah that part of my life is still chaos and i haven't even wanted to write about it because it stresses and depresses me), but yesterday a friend of mine helped me move over all the furniture and the boxes. Still stuff left but that's stuff just chucked down in bin bags or not yet packed at all. Anyways i digress.
But hence, due to all this there was no chat organized. I really do want to though. I can't promise this week will work out either because this week i have to complete the move and actually move in (in the middle of a total refurbishment of the bathroom, new plumbing in the kitchen and still not knowing about the painting of the living room *sigh*).

Not very many people voted for a time zone though so is kind of hard for me to organize a time that would work for most. If you haven't seen it i did link to the world time zone map, if you can't be bothered to check, maybe you could just state where in the world you are? That's if you'd like to participate. There's a wide variation of time zones among my readers so i will try to vary the times a bit. Difficult part is to match it so that both Brutus and i can participate (seeing since He works, i don't), this is not something we have discussed yet though. Anyways, i thought the first chat night could be a general one. One where we say hello and just chat about anything and everything. After that there may be themes. Feel free to come with suggestions! About anything at all.

Collaring

I got very excited last night. In a conversation with Master the subject of collars came up. I'd asked permission to wear a "fake" collar to BDSM-events, just to show my status up-front. He said He considered me collared the moment He accepted me as His sub.

How have you other Doms looked at this? When do you consider a sub collared? Does the physical collar need to exist and be applied, or is it the decision to accept the person's submission that is the defining moment? Particularly if the relationship is of an online / LDR character where, of natural reasons, the act of the collaring is a bit trickier.

How do you subs look at it? Would be very interesting to see if there's a difference in opinion between Doms and subs on this matter.
